Having worked within Forensic Psychiatry for 15 years, Ann's job is to support the nurses and engage with patients in their therapeutic activities. "I like the work and the challenges it brings", she says. "I would describe myself as a keen staff member participating with decision making and care delivery, I also enjoy interacting with patients."
If that wasn't enough, she is also half-way to becoming a nurse with the Open University. "The course has enabled me to improve my skills and abilities in mental health care practice as well as make achievements academically. I have had the opportunity to work in different areas of mental health and have enjoyed meeting new colleagues and patients with different needs."
