Is the NHS pension deal good enough?
The government has recently offered NHS staff a new, allegedly fairer pension deal, but is it enough? What changes would you make?
Should NHS data be shared?
Prime Minister David Cameron announced last week that he plans to share records and other NHS data with researchers in to make it easier to develop and test new drugs and treatments.However, despite the Department of Health (DoH) claiming that all necessary safeguards would be in place to ensure protection of patients' details, social and technology campaign group, Ethics and Genetics, has announced that under certain circumstances data anonymity would not always be guaranteed. Do the pros outweigh the cons? Can you think of a better system?
