• Are NHS staff appreciated enough?

  Totally independent of the DoH or government affiliation, the Healthcare Hero and HEAL awards are not funded by the public purse – they are simply our way of giving NHS staff a little recognition and appreciation. The reality is that every single NHS employee is a true hero. Do you think NHS staff are appreciated enough?
  

• Will plain packaging make cigarettes less attractive?

  The government is considering forcing tobacco companies to switch all cigarette brand packs to a standard plain brown wrapper in a bid to de-glamorise smoking and stop young people taking up the habit. Will plain packaging make cigarettes less attractive? Do you think the government would be right to introduce these measures?
